1 Acceptance of the terms

These Terms of Use apply to everyone who uses the Trendgo app, whether as a customer or as a captain. By creating an account or using any service in the app you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms.

2 About Trendgo and definitions

Trendgo for Land Transport (the "Company") operates the Trendgo app in the Syrian Arab Republic. The app connects customers with partner captains who provide transportation, delivery, shopping, restaurant orders and other services.

• Customers: people who request or receive a service, including people for whom the service is requested by someone else.
• Captains: individuals who sign a contracting form with the Company to provide transportation, delivery or other services in the app.
• Users: customers and captains together.

3 Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when you create an account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login details and phone secure.
• Customers are verified by an SMS sent to their phone number. Captains may be required to complete identity, vehicle and good-conduct checks before they can use the app.

4 Using the service as a customer

• You can request a service through the app and track it until it is completed.
• You may cancel an order within the period set by the Company in the app.
• You must pay the fare or amount shown in the app at the end of the service, less any discount offered by the Company.
• The number of passengers must not exceed the number permitted by law. The Company may cancel an order if it does.
• Please treat captains and their vehicles with respect and keep them clean.

5 Responsibilities of captains

• Provide services safely, politely and in line with the law and the Company guidelines.
• Hold a valid licence and keep the vehicle in a safe, roadworthy and clean condition.
• Use the customer contact details only to complete the order, and never for any other purpose.
• Accept regular re-checks of identity, vehicle and criminal record as required by the Company.

6 Ratings and reviews

Customers can rate the services they receive from captains. Ratings and comments help us keep the service safe and reliable. Captain accounts whose ratings fall below the level allowed by Company policies may be deactivated.

7 Prohibited conduct and account suspension

You must not:

• Misuse the service, damage a vehicle, or harass, threaten or discriminate against any user.
• Provide false information, impersonate another person, or use another person's account.
• Use the app for any illegal purpose, or try to cheat, hack or interfere with its operation.
• Abuse promotional codes or offers.

The Company may block or suspend the account of any user who breaks these terms or misuses the service.

8 Privacy and personal data

We collect and use personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time by email.

9 Intellectual property

The Trendgo name, logo, app and all related content belong to the Company or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer any part of the app without written permission.

10 Limitation of liability

Trendgo is a platform that connects customers with independent captains and merchants. To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays or failures caused by events outside its reasonable control such as network outages, road conditions or force majeure.

11 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page, and continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the updated terms.

12 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws in force in the Syrian Arab Republic.
